Jessy was such a trooper. She was under the weather, but she gave us her very best for the shoot. They were very fun to work with, and even though Nick was a bit shy, we were able to find ways to help Nick be as relaxed as possible and we successfully captured them being themselves.
Tricia and Toan’s Wedding in Garden Grove, California
Because of how the wedding day was planned, we did not have a chance to capture Tricia’s preparation for the big day. Instead, we met up with Tricia and Toan at a train station in Orange County and started the day there with a photo session. It was easy since Tricia and Toan were natural before the camera. They were at ease. We had fun. They were too cute, especially when it was time for some solo shots of Tricia, Toan would be hanging around the set and tease her at will; When it was Toan’s turn, Tricia knew how to return the favor. We were laughing the whole session.
After our hour-long photo session at the train station, we headed over to the church for the start of their wedding. The ceremony was beautiful, and the reception was loud and fun! It was a great party and we had a great time!
Teresa and Roy’s Wedding at the Fairmont San Jose Luxury Hotel, California
Roy’s cousin was one of my groomsmen at our own wedding, so we were very happy when Roy asked us to be their wedding photographer. It was a fun wedding where it had the traditional Chinese-style Tea Ceremony in the early afternoon and then the Western-style walk-down-the-aisle ceremony plus the festive reception afterward. Friends and families flew in from all over the world, and it was a great party!
