My nephew, Ethan, just turned one-month old. Actually, I lied… he hit that mark weeks ago – and I have neglected to write about it and share with you. For all you Ethan lovers, here are some of the pictures from Ethan’s party:
It is a Chinese tradition to give a gold bracelet or necklace to the one-month old baby for blessing. I had one too when I was that tiny.
Ethan was not the only baby that evening. Tristan’s father, Lawrence, and Ethan’s father, Dawson, are cousins. Tristan is a little over two years old. He was a little shy, but as soon as we played “Baby Einstein” on TV (that thing worked wonders!) it had Tristan’s undivided attention.
